Today (Tuesday, February 23) the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are hosting an evening for the youth every Tuesday at 7.30pm for 12 to 18-year-olds. Organisers promise great activities and service projects for all the kids.
Or why not attend Troon Old Parish Church line dancing group one week which meet for an hour, every Tuesday, at 10am followed by Mothers & Toddlers until 12.30pm.
On Thursday, February 25, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are also hosting a Book Club at 6.30pm every Thursday for those who wish to participate is group scripture reading and discussions.
Troon Old Parish Church Mothers & Toddlers get together from 9.30am until 11.30am.
On Sunday, February 28, services will be held in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Mossgiel Road, Ayr. Services begin at 10am with discussion groups for Priesthood (men & male youth), Relief Society (women), Young Women and Primary (children up to 12). Sunday School for all ages begins at 11am. Sacrament Meeting for all members of the family and friends begins at 11.50am under the direction of Bishop Gilardi. Visitors are always welcome.
Members and visitors to Troon Old Parish Church meet at the Lord's table to celebrate communion with the service starting at 10.30am conducted by Rev Alastair Symington. They have a creche for the youngest members and Sunday Schools for older children. There is tea/coffee served in the main hall after the service which everyone is warmly invited to. In the evening the youth meet at Fred's at 7.30pm.
Meanwhile Troon St Meddans Parish Church service will be at 10.30am and the special emphasis is on Healing. Rev David Harper will conduct worship. The Church Choir and Praisemor will lead the praise. Junior Church, Koinonia and creche are all at 10.30 am. Coffee is served in Pentland Hall following morning worship and members, friends and visitors are warmly invited to come through to the halls to share in a brief time of fellowship.
