Today (Tuesday, March 23) the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints are hosting an evening for the youth every Tuesday at 7.30pm for 12 to 18-year-olds. Organisers promise great activities and service projects for all the kids.

On Thursday, March 25, the Ayr Community Gospel Choir rehearsal takes place tonight with new members welcome. Following on from the success of the group's very successful Salvation Army's Christmas Concert they are calling all singers from 14 upwards (no limit) to do it all again - this time for a Summer Concert on Sunday, June 13. There will be six rehearsals to be held during March, April and May. Practise takes place in Riverside Evangelical Church Hall, John Street in Ayr from 7.30pm until 9pm. Or why not drop into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints' Book Club at 6.30pm every Thursday for those who wish to participate is group scripture reading and discussions.

On Friday, March 26, all are welcome to enjoy a coffee morning with the Belhaven Nursing Home residents. The event will run from 10.30am to 12noon at the 3 Craigend Road home in Troon. There will be tea, coffee, homebaking, a raffle and craft stall.
