JOHN Cooper, part of the poplar family that ran a prominent business at Templehill for almost 40 years, passed away on April 10 aged 90.

As well as this, John was a regular judge at the annual Ayr Classic Motorcycle Show, for vintage and unique bikes, that runs over two days in June at the Rowallan Activity Centre.
