Stalker jailed

A stalker sentenced to more than two years for terrorising his married former lover has been jailed for a further 12 months for plaguing her from prison.

Obsessed plumber John Jewitt, 57, wrote to Una Watt at her home in Ayr from Barlinnie Prison where he is serving a 28 month sentence for making her life hell after she ended their affair.

He has also telephoned women who know Mrs Watt from prison asking about where she works and what her movements are.
