Couple to face child neglect charges

A COUPLE from Dailly had their child taken away from them after police allegedly found them in possession and heavily under the influence of drink or drugs.

The 28-year-old mother and 29-year-old father were arrested for drug possession and being unfit to care for their child at 5pm on Thursday, August 19 at Ayr Railway station.
