House plan thrown out

A MAYBOLE housing development that would have provided 55 dwellings has been refused planning permission because of the desperate need in South Ayrshire for affordable housing.

An application had been made by Hope Homes for a substantial development including detached and semidetached bungalows and flats on a site between Elms Way, Laurel bank and an industrial estate in Maybole.
