Tragic news of Prestwick officer

TRAGEDY struck a Prestwick family last week when Jamie Adam died following a collision with another rider during a motorcycle race on the Isle of Mann.

Brave Jamie, 28, was a Petty Officer with the Air Engineers off duty from HMS Sultan when the accident happened.

Jamie, who had successfully completed tours in both Afghanistan and Iraq, crashed on the second lap of the Manx Grand Prix, on Wednesday, September 1, after colliding with another rider.
