Pioneering project is blueprint for patient care

A PROJECT to transform the lives of those with long-term conditions was the focus of a special event at Ayr Hospital recently.

NHS Ayrshire & Arran's work to help patients manage their long-term condition was rewarded last year when they were chosen as one of only eight UK locations to host a Co-Creating Heath event, based around the initiative run nationally by The Health Foundation which aims to help transform the care of people living with long-term conditions.
