PIGEON deterrents are set to be installed at a Troon sheltered housing complex after complaints to the council from residents.

Issues of bird droppings and fights between birds have been plaguing the residents of Bradan Road sheltered housing for two years, and with nothing being done by South Ayrshire Council they raised the issue with town Councillor Philip Saxton who then went to Central Ayrshire MP Brian Donohoe.
