Security stepped up at Ayr Sheriff Court

THERE was a high level of security at Ayr Sheriff Court on Monday with four people facing a charge of assisting the escape of a prisoner.

Three men and a woman were expected to appear in private on Monday afternoon on petition for allegedly attempting to pervert the ends of justice.
