Fire engulfs Lido

SMOKE engulfed Troon late on Sunday morning after a fire tore through the popular restaurant Lido.

Just before 11.30am on Sunday, February 5, firefighters from Troon were called to reports of a fire at the restaurant on West Portland Street, and on arrival quickly realised that they would have to call for help.
