Troon's call for heroes

TROON Fire Station is to hold an open day at the end of March to encourage new recruits to join up.

The station, just off Portland Street, has two fire engines operated by a crew of 20 fire fighters that include one watch commander, three crew commanders and 16 fire fighters, as well as Lorna the station assistant.
