AYR Academy has room for improvement as Inspectors claimed exam results were poorer than schools serving similar areas.
On Tuesday, March 20, HMIe published the report of their recent inspection of Ayr Academy where they commended the new headteacher's leadership and the range of out-of-hours activities while claiming that areas such as pupil attainment, pupil support needs and learners' experiences needed improving.
