NEW York's Broadway was the inspiration for a musical evening organised by Struthers Primary School
Pupils of all ages starred in Struthers On Broadway, which featured songs from some of the most famous musicals and was held in Troon Concert Hall.
The Nursery got proceedings underway with Zip-a-Dee-Doo and this was followed by a poetry recital from Abigail Reilly.
Centre stage was then taken by P1 and P2 who performed Jungle Book, with Mac Irvine and Izzy Christie giving poetry recitals.
Mary Poppins was performed by the P3 and P4 pupils with Erin Rumsey and Jamie Allan doing poetry recitals.
The P5 and P6 pupils gave a rendition of Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang and there were then poetry recitals from Melissa Kelly and Eva McIntyre.
The Drama Club presented a performance of Snow White and P7 hit the high notes with a rendition of Footloose, with Josh Murdoch then doing a poetry recital.
All money raised will go towards school funds.
A special thanks goes to all staff for their hard work in producing this show and to our wonderful pupils who shone on the night.
