A MAJOR annual sporting event for Troon schools proved a real splash hit.
Thanks goes to everyone who competed in the Troon Round Table Schools Swimming Gala at Troon Swimming Pool earlier this month.
Represented were Troon, Barassie, St Patrick's, Struthers, Dundonald, Muirhead and Monkton Primary Schools. This year 102 pupils in the P5 to P7 age group signed up with approximately 85 heats.
A special well done to this year's relay winners: Girls - 1st Barassie; 2nd St Patricks; 3rd Troon. Boys - 1st St Patrick's; 2nd Struthers; 3rd Barassie.
The overall school winners this year were: Girls - Barassie Primary; Boys - St Patrick's Primary.
