AROUND 2000 people flocked to Fullarton Woods for a popular event which was held for the first time on Easter Monday.
Fullarton Fairy Trail held their first family event fundraiser at Fullarton Woods and the event has been voted a huge success.
However it was so busy that there were parking problems and organiser Donna Read said the group will work with police at future events to manage traffic better.
Aside from locals there were also visitors from Glasgow, Clydebank and East Kilbride, many of whom go on to visit the town centre.
The main attractions were an Easter bunny trail with real rabbits and chicks for children to hold for a small fee.
The animal owners also discussed what was involved with keeping a rabbit to ensure animal welfare.
Also on offer were bouncy castles, face-painting, mobile coffee van and hot dogs, ice cream and a photo opportunity with a fairy.
Fairies also hid two golden tickets along the trail with two giant Easter eggs going to Harrison McCall and Lewis Jess.
People attending had an opportunity representatives from conservation group Friends of Fullarton and discuss the great work they are doing and they had a cupcake stand with delicious cakes and home-baking.
They could also bring a picnic and dine with the Easter bunny mascot.
Those attending were asked for small donations to help improve the Fairy Trail.
