A FASCINATING insight into the work of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution is on the cards next month.
Take a closer look at the RNLI and what they do at the Troon Lifeboat Station Open Day, which is being held on Saturday, July 22, from 11am until 4pm
People can aboard the charity's Trent class all weather lifeboat 'RNLB Jim Moffat' and D-class inshore lifeboat 'Telford Shopping Centre'.
They will also get the chance to speak to our volunteer crew to find out about the training we carry out and the variety of callouts we attend.
At the Lifeboat Station there will also be various stalls and attractions as well as other emergency services.
This is a great day out for the whole family and people are encouraged to support their local lifeboat station.
Admission is free.
