TROON’s very own music festival came to town over the weekend as an eclectic mix of musicians all passionate about their craft played at various venues throughout the normally quiet seaside town.

Events kicked off on Friday night at Portland Church with performances from Zuba, Glasgow Gospel Choir and Sylvia Dorfman. The Church was three quarters full for the first event and it took until the final song of the night for the audience to be up on their feet dancing, although they had all clearly enjoyed the music.

For the full story of the festival please see this week's paper.
