Sell-off fears

TROON'S municipal golf courses could be sold into private ownership, that's the fear of one Troon councillor.

Councillor Philip Saxton called-in a council paper at last week's corporate and community planning scrutiny panel on Thursday, April 28, during which he expressed his fears that with the privatisation of the Clubhouse the golf courses could be privatised.
