Golfers divide leads to a call for a final decision

TROON golfers urged councillors and officials to hurry up and take a decision over the future of the town's municipal clubhouse as argument between clubs raged on.

On Thursday, March 8, a meeting was held between the four Troon councillors, Kenny Leinster, Head of Community Care and Housing, and the clubs that use the municipal clubhouse - apart from Welbeck.
