Cash boost could help Ailsa realise their South Ayrshire turbine dreams

COMMUNITY owned regeneration company Ailsa Horizons want to build a wind turbine in Girvan.

The company are currently awaiting a date being set for a planning hearing for that application for a single turbine 67 metres high to blade tip that would be situated near Grangestone.

Information about the proposed turbine will be on display in Ailsa Horizons' Dalrymple Street offices from 10am to 6.30pm on Tuesday, May 8 and from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, May 12, with members of the public invited to drop in at any time to find out more about the turbine and complete a short questionnaire giving their views on the proposal.
