Community rally together to save family home

COMMUNITY spirit is alive and well in Troon as residents came together to put out a fire at their neighbour's house.

The Gemmell Family, of Earn Road, thanked their neighbours this week for their patience and their help after they extinguished a fire vandals had started at their home while they were on holiday and put up with weeks of disruption while the damage was repaired.
