FOUR people were taken to hospital after a bus and a car collided in Troon town centre.

Police cars, fire engines and ambulances raced to the junction of Church Street and Academy Street just after 1.20pm on Friday, August 3, after a Stagecoach bus collided with a car.

Three of the 17 bus passengers were taken to hospital along with the bus driver as police investigated what had happened.
