Carstairs health assessment after Troon death

AN artist charged with murdering his mother and trying to beat his father to death has been sent to Scotland's state hospital at Carstairs for a mental health assessment.

Graeme Morris, 38, of Hove, East Sussex, made his second appearance in private at Ayr Sheriff Court last week.
