INTEREST in netball has been soaring since the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games helped showcase the sport.
Active Schools recently staged their annual Competitive Schools Sports Netball Competition.
The event included schools with S1-3 netball teams from Ayr Academy, Belmont Academy, Carrick Academy, Kyle Academy, Prestwick Academy, Marr College and Queen Margaret Academy.
Matches were umpired by South Ayrshire Active Schools Netball Leaders.
Pupils played over three leagues throughout the competition.
