AYR Lawn Tennis Club hosted their Club Championships on September 1.
The junior events were held in the morning and seniors in the afternoon.
Winner of the U10 event was Callum Normansell. Luca Smyth won the U12 trophy and also received the Todd Trophy for the Most Improved Junior.
Josh Kean retained his U18 title and the Gents Singles title in impressive style, the gents match lasting more than three hours against Roddy MacKintosh.
Wendy McClure also did the double, winning the ladies singles final and the ladies doubles final with Heather Wolstenholme.
Winners of the gents doubles final were Alan Todd and John Foran.
Mixed doubles champions were Jane Anderson and Alan Paul. Spectators enjoyed many three set matches, along with the BBQ and refreshments. Play continues throughout the autumn and winter on the all-weather courts.

After the October holiday, the club's winter indoor mini-tennis resumes at Belmont Academy on Wednesday evenings.
