EXPERIENCED striker Mark Roberts is going all out to help repay boss Brian Reid's faith in him by helping blast Ayr United straight back to the Barr's Irn-Bru First Division after being given the captain's armband.
The 34-year-old, who is remarkably going into this 19th season in Senior Football, last week finally agreed a new deal after several weeks of negotiation despite having a couple of other offers and is now fully focused on the job in hand.
Roberts is now in his third season at Somerset Park and is an established fans' favourite.
