A POSITIVELY scintillating second half performance ultimately saw slick United steamroller spirited Sunnybank, capped by an outrageous goal from double hero Andy Rodgers to storm into the lucrative all-in Fourth Round of the national competition.

With the scoreline blank and frustration among home players and fans increasing the contest totally turned with two quickfire goals inside a minute before the interval. And thereafter the Honest Men stamped their authority on the game against the Junior Northern Superleague champions who ultimately lost their discipline.

It was the perfect way for Brian Reid's team to bounce back following their shock 3-2 defeat away to basement boys Dumbarton in Barr's Irn-Bru Division Two a week earlier and gives them confidence as they continue their quest for a quick return to Division One.
