The visitors continued to run the show in the second half with goals coming at regular intervals. Hilton added a second and further goals from McMaster, Johnstone and Clapperton completed the scoring.

YOUTH FOOTBALL

CLARK Drive Girls have resumed pre-season training and are looking forward to a busy campaign.

The season is due to officially kick off in March and players simply can't wait to get started and compete in local tournaments, league, League Cup and Scottish cup games.

Drive Girls U13s, who will be the first ever CDGs squad to travel overseas, will be playing in Toulouse for a jam- packed two-day tournament.

The club are delighted to give the youngsters this fantastic opportunity and we thank the organisers for the invitation. We were only too delighted accept!

Not long after the girls return from Toulouse, the U15s will fly over to Oslo, Norway with Youth Football Scotland to participate in the largest Junior football tournament in the world.

They are all looking forward to attending this amazing eight-day event with another 19 teams who will all be representing Scotland.

The club will be fundraising throughout the year for the tournaments with the first event being the annual race night on Friday, March 4 at Irvine Sports Club. If you would like to support the club by providing raffle prizes or sponsoring a race and donating a bottle of Spirits then contact the club for more details.

Their second fundraiser is a Night with Sally Buxton on March 31. The psychic nights are popular so tickets should be bought early.

They are also looking for new sponsors to support the club during the season.

Any companies who would like to support their local grassroots football club and also promote their company name across the country should contact the club at clarkdrivegfc@outlook.com.
