Murray's men warm-up for Murrayfield with thumping win

SCOTTISH Hydro Cup finalists Ayr warmed up for Saturday's Murrayfield showdown against Melrose with an emphatic 39-0 win against Dundee HSFP which keeps their Premiership title hopes alive.

After hauling themselves back into a drama-packed match against West on Tuesday night to take maximum points they looked dead and buried at half-time against Dundee HSFP four days later yet came back to score six tries, cnliched the bonus point and stay on course for the league and cup double.
