THE clock is ticking as preparations get underway for an egg-sellent event in just over eight weeks’ time.

Fullarton Woods will play host to the fourth annual Easter Egg Hunt, organised by the people behind the Secret Santa venture on Easter Sunday, April 1.

People from across the Troon community are asked to dig deep by donating some eggs to help boost the charitable drive as organisers simply can’t run it without their help.

Plans have been hatched for the event over the last couple of months following the successful Secret Santa event, which saw presents given out to around 1,000 people from across the community.

The donation points will be confirmed shortly.

Organisers hope for some good weather after last year’s deluge.
On the day, Gregor UW Baird will bring along a bouncy castle and his burger van so people are encouraged to make a day of it.

Once again the Troon Times are supporting the venture and we are supplying a voucher to admit a family of four to the event.

This egg-citing seasonal extravaganza challenges people to take some time away from their devices and enjoy some of the great outdoors.

After handing over their admission voucher, youngsters are asked to search for coloured balls, which can be handed over in exchange for an Easter Egg.

Some will be harder to find than others, but they’re all there.

It promises to be a fun event.
