A MAN was remanded in custody and charged with behaving in a disorderly manner near Ayr United Football stadium.
On Sunday, February 11, around 2.10pm at Somerset Park, the 19-year-old was arrested for offences under the Offensive Behaviour Football Act.
It is alleged that while attending the football match the man, understood to be a Rangers fan, shouted and swore and tried to encourage others to fight.
The Ayr Advertiser Series understands that he was observed lashing and striking out at other people which resulted in a large disturbance.
The man was detained and was due to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court on Monday, February 12.
