A DROP-IN session to help shape Dalmellington's future will be held next week.
Members of the community have been invited to have their say as a new Community Action Plan for the area nears completion.
The Coalfields Regeneration Trust and the Electoral Reform Society joined forces to run two intensive workshop sessions in March as part of the Reclaiming Coalfield Communities initiative.
There will be a drop in voting session on Tuesday, May 15 in the Scout Hall, from 4pm – 7pm to give the local community the chance to vote for the projects they think will most improve the area.
Pauline Grandison, the CRT’s Coalfield’s Programme Manager, said: “We want as many people as possible to drop in and vote for the projects that they think could best transform their local areas.
“There will be the chance for those attending to chat to the groups putting forward projects and decide who they will be voting for. The successful projects will be announced on the night."
Once the Action Plan is complete, there will be a launch event at a date, which will be announced in due course.
