GREEN fingered enthusiasts made their way to Portland Parish Church.
The Church Hall played host to a succesful garden day on May 26. Visitors attended from Troon and beyond.
The hall was buzzing. Bedding plants, perennials, house plants and vegetable plants were for sale and a busy cafe provided refreshments and home baking.
In all £1200 was raised, to be split between Broken Chains, an Ayr Presbytery local mission, and Christian Aid, particularly for seeds and garden tools.
