GIRVAN could become the gateway to the country’s newest National Park.
The Galloway National Park Association road show will be in Girvan on Friday, June 29 to speak to the community.
In their recent discussion document it has been suggested that parts of South Ayrshire, including Girvan, meet the tests to be a National Park
President of the Association Dame Barbara Kelly said:”We have held over 30 meetings with communities throughout the south west and found widespread support and enthusiasm for the idea, and it is now the turn of Girvan so we look forward to seeing you next week.”
Information is available on the website www.gallowaynationalpark.org and the public meetings will all start at 7pm and will be held at The Quay Zone.
