AN ANIMAL rights organisation took to the streets of Ayr to operate their ‘cube of truth demonstration’.
‘Anonymous for the Voiceless’ is an animal rights organisation that specialises in peaceful street activism across the globe.
Their aim is to encourage everyone to turn to veganism and to stop animals suffering.
Last week they took to Ayr High Street to hold their demonstration near Greggs and Cafe Monza.
Creating a circle, campaigners stood with masks on their faces and laptops displaying information about their cause.
Pictures and videos were taken and posted online to show show the community reacted to the campaign.
While some stopped to speak to campaigners others walked past.
‘Anonymous for the Voiceless’ have set up a gofundme page to allow supporters to donate to their cause.
Thomas Kelly, who set up the page, said: “We operate cube of truth demonstrations around the world; a peaceful static demonstration akin to an art performance with a strict focus on structure and aesthetics.
“We are the Ayrshire Scotland Chapter of Anonymous for the Voiceless and have been hosting demonstrations in Ayrshire since June 2018.
“The funds raised through this campaign will go towards a 24 inch Smart TV to optimise our footage shown to the public.
“This will help to optimise our cube of truth demonstrations in future,by having a more standout demonstration and footage can be seen more clearly by the public than a general device/laptop.
“Whether you make a donation or share this campaign, any support is greatly appreciated.”
