Troon library hosts talk on shipyard history
TROON Library presented Rebirth of the Clyde.
On Wednesday, June 20, John Morgan spoke to the audience about the history of Ferguson Marine Shipyard at Port Glasgow.
Annette Simpson, who was at the event, explained: “Mr Morgan spoke about the shipyard from its early years up to the present day and described the current projects.
“The talk was illustrated with some film of the shipyard and its apprentices.”
