COMPETITION was once again intense when Struthers Primary School recently hosted their annual football tournament
The Struthers Summer Cup is now in its 15th year and competing were the hosts along with Troon, Barassie, Muirhead, Dundonald and St Patrick's Primary Schools.
Muirhead defeated the homes side in the final to win the trophy for the first time.
This year the event was sponsored by Troon Fairtrade Initiative, who handed out Bala balls to all the schools.
