Man appears in court charged with murder in Ayr
A TROON man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Ann McLean in Ayr at the end of November.
53-year-old John Prentice appeared today at Ayr Sheriff Court and made no plea to a charge of murder.
The case was continued for further examination and Prentice was remanded in custody.
He is expected to appear again next week at court.
