Pupils and staff at St Patrick’s Primary School donated over £500 between two homeless charities.
The Troon school donated £257.77 each to the Wayside Club in Glasgow and to SeAscape in Ayr.
St Patrick’s raised the money from ticket and programme sales at their Christmas show.
Head teacher, Lynsey May, recently joined pupils to present the cheques to Brian Bonnyman from the Wayside Club and May Gilchrist from SeAscape.
The Wayside Club is run by the Legion of Mary, a Catholic lay group of volunteers and provides meals and support for homeless people.
Local charity, SeAscape, offers expert support and advice on issues such as welfare reform and access to the Scottish Welfare fund for community care grants.
