THE magical world of Alice in Wonderland was recreated on the South Ayrshire stage, writes Stewart McConnell.

Glenburn Primary School hosted their version of Lewis Carroll’s much-loved tale over two nights, with parents, grandparents, friends and families all turning out in good numbers.

Alice in Wonderland has been a huge hit and was made into two acclaimed movies, one starring Fiona Fullerton in the 70s and the much more recent Tim Burton version featuring Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter.

The charming musical featured Stevie Grigg and Jenna Lang in the role of Alice, while Brogan Maclean and Iona Priestnall starred as the Queen of Hearts and Nina Clinton and Megan Sloan featured as the March Hare.

Jude Ramage and Fraser McIntyre took on the iconic role of the Mad Hatter, while Kyle McFarlane and Katie Donald starred as the White Rabbit.

Thanks go to everyone who attended.

Much preparation had gone into the event with rehearsals needing dedication.

And as our pictures show, it was very much all right on the night.
