ACCLAIMED musical School of Rock was brought to life on the big stage at Heathfield Primary School, writes Stewart McConnell.
The Primary 7s spent many months preparing with their teachers Laura Boyd, Jennifer Webster and Laura Fraser along with voice coach Neil Thomson.
It was based on the acclaimed Jack Black movie which was made into a musical which has been on Broadway in New York, London and around the globe.
They attended after school, on Sundays and during the Easter holidays, preparing themselves for the big night.
Their hard work paid off with a spectacular show performed to a sell-out crowd at the school three nights in a row.
As always parents, grandparents, families and the local community came along to support pupils.
This show will be a hard act to follow, but with these talented youngsters available we could again be in for a treat.
