A CHARITY which supports vulnerable people who are living with hearing loss has launched an appeal for volunteers.

Action on Hearing Loss Scotland is looking for Ayr residents to joiner their team and make a valuable contribution towards helping those who struggle to hear.

The charity are looking for people to give up a few hours each month by taking up one of the charity’s fundraising, campaigning or service delivery volunteering opportunities.

For those who are interested, the charity have promised full training and support to all volunteers as they strive to make ‘positive impacts’ in the lives of people who have hearing loss.

Action on Hearing Loss Scotland’s Hugh Donaghy said:“We’d be delighted to speak with Ayr residents who are interested in taking up one of our volunteering roles and help our charity to continue making positive impacts in the lives of people who have hearing loss.
