Detectives have found 'no criminality' after a cyclist was reported to have been 'attacked and robbed' by two men in Ayr.
The robbery was reported on the River Ayr walk near to Station Road in the town around 3.15pm on Friday, January 17.
Ayr CID said that after carrying out a thorough investigation enquiries have concluded with no criminality established.
Chief Inspector Brian Anderson said: “No further police action is required.
"We would like to thank the public for their co-operation during the investigation.”
