COMMUNITY groups from Troon can bid for support at a special event being held next month.
The Troon and Villages Decision Day is being staged in the Walker Hall on Saturday, February 8, from 10am until noon.
Local groups have the opportunity to bid for up to £1000 to run projects or activities which support Health and Wellbeing within Troon, Barassie, Muirhead, Dundonald and Loans.
Funding applications should align to the following Troon & Villages Locality Planning Priorities:
* Supporting people living with long term health conditions.
* Tackling loneliness and social isolation.
* Promoting mental health and wellbeing.
A public vote will decide which projects are supported.
And normally the meeting is attended by people from across the town.
Competition for support should be strong.
