OUR National Bard was honoured when Troon Primary School staged their P7 Burns Supper in the dining hall.
Piping in the Haggis was Joe Jamieson of P7 while Logan Fallows was Haggis Bearer. A whole host of recitations were delivered, including Tam O ‘Shanter by Jack Lee, Inga Cummings, Lana Burns and Sophie Hitchman.
Jackson Roberts and Taylor Aitken recited the Immortal Memory and musician Elliot Dick played Auld Lang Syne. We had an inspiring version of Ye Banks and Braes from Inga Cummings on the violin. There was also Scottish dancing in the form of the ever-popular Strip the Willow, which often has missteps.
