The Ayrshire Music Festival was brought to an early end owing to coronavirus fears.
Organisers said in a statement today: "We have received a number of enquiries about whether or not the Ayrshire Music Festival is continuing or not given the current concerns around the COVID-19 virus.
"As of this evening, the UK Government has stated that all non-essential social contact should be avoided until further notice.
"Under these changed circumstances we will be cancelling the remaining programme for the Ayrshire Music Festival including Classes 199, 140 and 124 that were due to be held Monday evening.
"Apologies to all those who will not be able to take part and please help by passing on this message to anyone you think was due to compete later this week.
"Many thanks to everyone who has worked to get the festival this far and to all the competitors and their supporters."
