AYR youngsters enjoyed a day of science at a college outing.
Primary pupils from Holmston Primary, St John’s Primary and Ayr Grammar Primary rotated around for science activities at Ayrshire College.
After a quick health and safety briefing the budding scientists got stuck learning flame testing, a health and fitness test, and enzyme catalse experiment and making a constellation viewer.
The trip was part of celebrations for British Science Week held between March 6 and 15.
British Science Week is a ten-day programme of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) events.
