A GOLF club in Prestwick is hoping to attract a new generation to the game through a discounted membership scheme for young players.
Young people aged between eight and 17 can make use of the scheme at Prestwick St Cuthbert Golf Club - no matter their level of experience.

With two groups to choose from - Future Stars and Junior Academy - young members will have the opportunity to participate in on-course sessions, compete in tournaments, and work towards a handicap.
Members will also have access to coaching from PGA professional David McLure, who has over 20 years of experience coaching golfers of all ages and abilities.

Lessons can be booked through the office and Pro Shop, and individual junior lessons cost £10.
