Osprey Cottage sits just 20 meters from the beach in the pretty coastal fishing village in South Ayrshire.
The former fisherman’s dwelling boasts beautiful sea views from all the rooms and is close to stunning Dunure Castle
The property, recently refurbished to a high standard features a cosy living room, complete with log burner, 40” smart TV with free view.
It also contains a lounge, kitchen, bathroom (no bath) and three bedrooms.
Bedroom one on the ground floor has a king-size bed, while bedroom two is upstairs, with a double bed and an en-suite shower room.
The third bedroom is open plan with stairs leading down to the living area.
The property sleeps five, includes private parking, unlimited Wi-Fi, a log burner and oil central heating.
And the good news for animal lovers is, Osprey Cottage is pet friendly.
The modern kitchen has all the usual cooking facilities plus washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven / grill.
The main bathroom is off the hallway on the ground floor, though please note there is no bath.
Bedroom one, also on the ground floor is impressive for a cottage bedroom.
It has very spacious, high ceilings, king size bed, ample hanging and storage space.
It also includes a 32” TV with built in DVD player and can accommodate a travel cot (supplied) or a double air bed for children.
A front vestibule has great hanging and footwear storage areas.
A staircase from the living room leads to the loft space, on the left, bedroom two.
This en-suite bedroom consists of a double bed, 32” smart TV, hanging and drawer storage. This truly lovely cosy room has outstanding sea views to the Isle of Arran.
On the other side of the stairs is a smaller open plan bedroom with a single sofa bed with stairs leading down to the living area - and more great views of the castle and Arran.
To the rear of the property there is parking for two cars. To the front a patio area C/W with furniture to enjoy those views
Dunure has a lovely fishing harbour, a café, ice cream shop. The Anchorage Bar/Bistro is now re-opened after a recent full refurbishment.
Culzean Castle and Country Park is four miles to the south and a must see!
One of Scotland’s most famous sons, Robert Burns was born four miles away in Alloway and his family cottage, visitor centre, monument and Tam O’Shanter bridge are all well worth a visit.
Golf fans will have an array of courses to play including the famous Turnberry.
The owners leave a complimentary basket of logs, kindling and firelighters for your convenience.
Also two TV’s are smart TV’s and if you have a Netflix account etc please feel free to login with your details.
They owners allow one pet in the property, but would allow a second dog by prior agreement depending on the amount of guests and size of the dogs.
